| Query Time | View the time required for the query to complete. |
| Query Status | View the status of the query. |
| Number Found | View the volume of matches retrieved by the query. |
| Number Searched | View the total number of items searched by the query. |
| Set Map Symbol | Click to display the Layer Style for dialog box, where you specify the thickness, style, and color displayed on the map for query results. The display properties that can be configured depend on whether your query results are in the form of points, lines, or regions. |
| Clear Previous Results | Click to refresh the map before showing the query results on the map. This option clears any results from other queries that may have been displayed on the map (providing those results haven't been attached to the map). You might use this option while building and honing your query until you finally get the results you want, which you might then attach to the map or save as a list. |
| Show Results on Map | Click to display the query results on the map before attaching them to the map as a layer or committing them to a list. As with the Clear Previous Results option above, you might use this option while building and honing your query until you finally get the results you want. |
| Save to List & Attach | Click to save the query results as a list, which is then attached to the map and visible in the Layer Legend under the Lists node. |
| Save to List | Similar to the Save and Attach to Map option, this option saves the query results to a list but doesn't attach that list to the map. You might use this option to further refine the list before attaching it to the map or to share it with other users or use it with third-party applications. |
| Save to Shapefile (Shapefile query source) |
Click to save the query results in shapefile format, which can be imported into other third party applications. |
| Add to DataCard | Click to launch a DataCard with the query results displayed in the navigation pane that appears on the left side of the DataCard. If a DataCard is already displayed, the results appear alongside other items that may appear in the DataCard. Otherwise, a new DataCard is launched. |
| Add to New DataCard | Click to display only the query results in the Data Navigator pane of a DataCard. |
